Logeren in een hotel met een verhaal? Middelpunt is een sociaal tewerkstellingsproject van maatwerkbedrijf Mariasteen vzw. Het hotel wordt uitgebaat door mensen met een afstand tot de arbeidsmarkt. Dankzij hun job in ons hotel hebben zij opnieuw een kans op duurzame en stabiele tewerkstelling in een omgeving met voldoende ondersteuning.

Travelling on your own, with your family or as a group? We have all you need for a fantastic holiday by the seaside. Also ideal for people with a disability, as our site is wheelchair accessible and 100% adapted to holiday-makers with specific care needs. But we are not the classic care hotel, as we prefer to focus on maximum holiday fun, rather than care needs and limitations!

You will have to work really hard to find a barrier for your disabled travel companions. In and around our site, everything has been adapted for wheelchair users, seniors, people with a mental or physical disability and the visually impaired. A walled courtyard, clear signs in Braille, lowered buttons, badge keys, raised tables, wheelchair accessible bathrooms, ... We have really earned our A+ accessibility rating.
Care solutions
Flexible, customised care
Relaxing and enjoying yourself is central to the care holiday at Middelpunt. Even if you're coming as a companion carer. You can engage our external care professionals to provide care in the room, borrow/hire all sorts of aids/devices, and even order puréed food or food for special dietary requirements as long as you let us know in advance. Our wellness facilities for the disabled are also recommended.

Our versatile rooms can be used to organise seminars, discrete meetings, brainstorming sessions or parties.
